About HTF
Honoring the Father Ministries has been ministering to the people of Latin America for over 25 years. HTF reaches tens of thousands for Christ annually, primarily in Cuba, Honduras and Nicaragua by following the example of Christ. Through sports ministry, construction, feeding hungry children and offering medical services & supplies, HTF reaches out with a loving hand that meets people at the point of their need.
HTF’s first project in Honduras was building a Christian school in San Juan Pueblo, then eventually purchased property in the mountains of Zambrano to begin a ministry base there. Assistance such as food, school supplies, clothing, medicine and discipleship is provided to these areas as well as indigenous Mosquitia communities on the coast.
In an effort to sustain the ministry and to generate income for the mountain residents, HTF is growing and harvesting coffee. Many young people and single mothers now have job opportunities and local farmers are paid fair trade prices which improves their quality of life.
